CRYO T – Cryotherapy for the treatment of pain in rehabilitation and sports medicine.
CRYO T is a portable cryotherapy instrument allowing you to always have the cold at hand.
The subtraction of heat occurs thanks to the contact between the ergonomic handpiece and high thermal conductivity metal plate, cooled by the Peltier effect.
Thanks to the thermal activation by means of a solid-state heat pump, CRYO T guarantees maximum energy exchange with the tissues. A thermometric sensor, placed on the exchange plate, continuously controls the temperature.
The temperature can be easily set manually or selected from a menu of preset modes.
Cold Application is particularly indicated in all those states of acute inflammation deriving from any type of trauma.
CRYO T induces superficial vasoconstriction, prevents the formation of hematomas, and helps reduce pain and muscle spasm. It is also a useful means of cooling the anatomical area treated with other methods at the end of a rehabilitation session.

How to use
The ergonomics of the handpiece allows dynamic treatments, which can be performed independently or with the aid of a therapist.
The possibility of applying an elastic band to the handpiece allows for static and operator-independent applications.
The cold plate, kept at a constant temperature, extracts heat through physical contact with the area of the body to be treated. After each use the metal plate must be sanitized with alcohol or disinfectants.
The obtained cooling is a very effective type of treatment, similar to but more practical and safer than ice. In traumas of mechanical origin, cold applications with CRYO T make it possible not to wet bandages and administer the right thermal dose.
